I can't find current, less than a year old, guidelines for reader/writers to submit stories to. Have the editors decided to go with what they consider "professional material, " instead?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-406318704822590967.post-45945715547311163792017-07-05T13:36:59.149-07:002017-07-05T13:36:59.149-07:00Even though a bit depressing (as I too am a surviv...Even though a bit depressing (as I too am a survivor), I found this to be one of the Harlequin stories that in many ways seemed more like the WsW standard romance. I almost skipped over it. But since I do read Harlequins and have recognized author's name (and paid for the magazine), I did read it and was glad I did.Delsora Lowe Romance Authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17051938452347622811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-406318704822590967.post-62848791856797764192017-06-28T14:13:29.736-07:002017-06-28T14:13:29.736-07:00I suspect it was a case of money talks. Without malice, I have to say that I prefer the stories by the usual Woman's World writer. They may not be so dramatic, but surely they are more cheerful. In my mind I would have guessed it wasn't a 'regular' WW writer story if it wasn't presented as a Harlequin author. I just thought the story was 'okay.'Patnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-406318704822590967.post-43030596705754746962017-06-22T21:55:47.515-07:002017-06-22T21:55:47.515-07:00Loved this story!Loved this story!bettye griffinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04457387770524295498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-406318704822590967.post-3284656079677767022017-06-21T16:47:37.897-07:002017-06-21T16:47:37.897-07:00Isn't this the second cancer story that Harleq...Isn't this the second cancer story that Harlequin has placed in Woman's World magazine recently? The by-play between the boy and girl was lovely, but as a survivor myself, I found it depressing to be reminded of a very dark time in my life. Surely there could have been a more benign reason for their meeting over the year. Also, did all the other customers waiting in line just disappear while they had their conversation? Oh, maybe she was last in line.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-406318704822590967.post-75278504434220262632017-06-21T13:06:05.285-07:002017-06-21T13:06:05.285-07:00I thought the same thing, Kate.I thought the same thing, Kate.Tamaranoreply@blogger.com
