Let it Snow!

by Kathy Hendrickson from the December 28, 2015 issue

Tagline: The season's first snowstorm--and a meeting with a friendly and good-looking local--caught Julie by surprise!

Observations:  I don't have much to say about this story. It's a solid story with a warm, fuzzy winter theme. We have freshly-baked cookies and a friendly, thoughtful and handsome neighbor who comes to the rescue of a modern damsel in distress.

I approve of the Jane Austen mention.

I wish I had more to say, but I don't. Good story. :)

I agree, Kate. A cute story written by an author who has sold before and the story shows why.

I don't remember it too much but seemed good.

I really need a subscription. I'm buy a copy at the grocery store every week, but I must have missed this one. Seems cute though.
P.S. I'm linking to you in my blog post for Wed Jan. 13.

Beth, I really recommend a subscription. Even though I sometimes don't get the odd issue, it's a pretty reliable way to get the stories. Can you post a link to the blog, please? :)

I highly recommend a subscription. I've had mine for more than 20 years. I have missed maybe a dozen issues over the years. I just call the subscription service if this happens. They offer to extend my subscription, but I always request they send me the missing issue and they do.
