SOLD!

I sold my eighth romance to WW! I just got the contract today and I'm thrilled! It's called "Old Dogs Can" and it will appear in the August 5th issue.

Congrats, Kate!

That's very exciting.

I really enjoy your blog/reviews. I subscribe to the magazine so I try to vote on all the stories.

Can't wait to read yours in August.

Congrats! I'm still in the process of getting published in WW. I actually received a note from the Patricia after sending in 3 or 4 stories, encouraging me to keep trying and telling me what I needed to change to make it fit WW. I like your blog. I'm sure I'll be back.

Patricia is a doll. She's so willing to help aspiring writers. Keep at it. Persistence is the key.

Best of luck, Susan. It's always better to be waiting to hear. It makes my mailbox emptying chore more fun, that's for sure.

Congrats, Kate! I love this blog.

I just sent WW a story yesterday. I keep getting helpful notes about my MSS from Johnene, so I keep submitting my stories.

Thanks, Susan. It's great that the WW editors take the time to give helpful comments. It's encouraging even when you're rejected. Best of luck on the submission. If you sell, let me know!

Will do.

I think that personal element is a big part of what makes WW such a popular market for writers.
