Tagline: Linda didn't have time for romance until she saw her neighbor in a new light!
Woman's World Tropes: Man to the rescue, friends to lovers
Observations: Mary Jo is having quite a run. I thought this was an adorable story. I loved seeing so much interaction between the hero and heroine, especially because they were working toward a goal together. I didn't get a super warm fuzzy feeling at the end, but I smiled the entire time I read it.

I agree, Kate. Nice to see Mary Jo's name attached to another romance. She can always be relied on to deliver something different.
Wow Mary Jo! You did it again. You keep this up and Woman's World will have to change the name of this column to 'Romance by Mary Jo'. Great story. Easy to relate to for those of us who get overwhelmed cooking for crowds. Both characters were easy to like. Congrats!
Once again a cute story. Thanks, Mary Jo!
Thank you for the kind words, ladies. This was my last WW story of the year, though I hope for more sales in 2017. I expect Patricia is already well into the new year. She edits to the WW voice, and I feel my ending to the Thanksgiving story was a bit more personal than the one she came up with. I think we all need to keep in mind whom we are writing for. As Jody put it, "Don't try to sell a black dog in a gray dog market."
Best of luck to everyone in the coming year.
I thought this was a cute story and fit the issue to a tee. Good job, Mary Jo.
